The experience

ARRIVAL

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your session begins. The studio is on the first floor, enter from Lower Briggate and come up the stairs to be greeted by our hosts.
ENTER THE TASTING ROOM

Make yourself comfortable in the tasting room and enjoy a welcome drink to get settled. The tasting will begin shortly after everyone has arrived.
BECOME A SCOTCH AFICIONADO

The sessions are a mix of tasting and presentation so feel free to ask your host any questions along the way. We want you to leave a bona fide Scotch pro!

Bought for a present for my girlfriend. We had a one to one session with a member of staff (Kirsty) and it was fantastic. We spent well over the hour they recommended discussing the gins and their history. A great experience!

My friend and I had the loveliest day at the Liquor Studio for the gin experience. John/Jon (not sure which) was so passionate about the history and science of gin. He had all of us laughing and made everything fun and interesting. We learned so much about gin and had so much fun tasting and making our own.

I took my mother as a Christmas present to liquor studio to make our own gin. The decor is wonderful, lots of soft woods and a huge array of spirits and things to mix them with. The hosts were incredibly engaging and very friendly. With our lack of knowledge in all things gin, they made us feel at ease. It was very informative, never boring. We also got to taste plenty of gins along the way!
