Spiced Rum Creation Classes
Join us at Liquor Studio for the only Spiced Rum Creation Experience in the North of England; take an interactive journey through Rum and the Science of Taste with us! Begin your journey in our flavour room as we guide you through the history of rum and its various styles during a tasting session, followed by a series of fun experiments to help you understand how you taste.
You’ll then head into our Blending Room to put your newly acquired knowledge to the test and work your way through our handmade spiced & tropical distillates. Once you’ve picked your favourites, we’ll help you develop your blend before creating a 70cl bottle of your unique recipe with a fully personalised label which you’ll take home!

Arrive at the Studio and have a Rum & Ginger on us as you meet your Rumstructor.

It’s time to learn as we embark on a rum-fuelled lesson with interactive experiments.

We'll take you through a rum tasting which highlights different styles of rum, which of course includes samples!

There’s always time for a quick cocktail which leads us nicely onto the 2nd part of the Rum Creation Experience.

BLENDING ROOM
Utilising the skills you have learned in the tasting room you will move to your very own work station where you will be shown how to blend your own spiced rum.

BOTTLE IT UP
Once you’ve perfected your recipe, you’ll create a 70cl bottle with a totally personalised label.

Liquor Studio is located in the heart of Leeds City Centre at 156a Briggate, LS1 6LY. We’ re located above Hedonist Bar & you’ll find our front door to the left of their entrance.
Wear something comfortable for the session; some classes will be seated throughout, whereas others such as Creation Classes & Cocktail Masterclasses have a standing element (although we are able to offer seating for those who require it).
Bookings may be cancelled or modified up to 24 hours before the scheduled session; cancellations will receive a full refund. Bookings cancelled within 24 hours will not receive a refund but are able to reschedule free of charge.

Unfortunately due to the age & design of the building, we do not have disabled access. The Studio is located on the first floor of the building and can be reached by 20 steps with a handrail. There 2 small steps connecting the Tasting & Blending Room.
There is a Unisex toilet located on the same floor as the Studio.
If you are showing COVID-19 symptoms we ask that you do not attend your session and inform us with at least 24 hours notice. We will rebook your session at a later date when you a well enough to attend.
We have a full risk assessment which is available upon contacting info@liquorstudio.co.uk & have made changes to the Studio to ensure its safety. PPE is available for those who wish to use it and there are hand sanitiser points throughout the venue, towels have also been replaced with paper towels. We have also greatly reduced our capacity to 6 people per session to ensure social distancing and ask that you respect this when you are in the Studio.
Due to the nature of our events at Liquor Studio, there is a minimum age of 18 and no maximum age whatsoever!

You will receive a confirmation email when you book directly with us. If you have bought a voucher, you will receive a physical voucher through the post.
